Meadowbrook High School Roar-A_Thon,

About the event

On Saturday, May 9th, Meadowbrook High School will host its 2nd annual Roar-A-Thon. Join us from 9am-10pm as we dance for the kids at Children's Hospital of Richmond at VCU (CHoR). For 13 hours, we'll stay on our feet for the kids who can't by dancing, playing games and spending time with some of CHoR's incredible patient families!

Roar-A-Thon is part of the Dance Marathon program, a nationwide movement of 250+ high schools and colleges. All raise money for the Children's Miracle Network Hospital in their community and we are thrilled to be a part of it!

How can you help?? Register as a dancer, support a registered dancer or join us at the event for a day of fun! All festivities will take place in the MHS gymnasium and a full schedule of events will be released soon! Last year, we were able to raise $10,257 for the kids at Children's Hospital of Richmond and with your help, we're hoping to surpass that number this year!

With a choice of sponsors being represented on our T-Shirts and family orientated activities in the morning and a Rave at night, while Meadowbrook is raising money for the charity, the community can come and have both fun but also help the children and these families who are in need of help. The activities for the children can vary from games with prizes to dancing with the princesses. The activity for everyone would be the In-Door prizes in which when buying a ticket, a drawing will occur from the gratitude form our sponsors.
