About the event

Every year, the celebration of queerness and non-conformative identity brings to the table many various vibrant costumes adorned by thousands of vibrant and diverse people. This is South Africa's most cosmopolitan event - even been recognised, appreciated and renowned by Helen Zille herself!

MCQP returns this year for its 25th anniversary to one of the favourite venues in order to host one of December's largest, most fabulous and fun parties.

MCQP guaruntees quality tunes from international acts all night, packed dance floors, chill spots and spaces, bars, and everything possibly needed for a great party experience!

This year's theme is 'Drage Race' - its going to be an interesting dress-up party this year for sure!

Why should you sponsor?

A sponsor should support our event, as it will be a highly beneficial action to conduct. This event is extremely well-known, and loved by many all over the country. 

This event brings communities together - whether they be gay or straight, black or white, male or female or have different beliefs etc. This event creates and extremely diverse attraction within the community, and people will develop a strong appreciation for brands affiliated and sponsoring this event.

MCQP expects to turn over between 2500 - 4000 people this year at the event, indicating that there is a strong competitive advantage for external companies to achieve through sponsorship. Publicity and awareness will be received through sponsoring our event to a strong extent.

Sebastien Trent

My name is Sebastien Trent and I work for MCQP in many different fields. I am passionate about this project and have experienced it first hand in the field as well as behind the scenes.

One of my jobs is to attract the best sponsors to suit this event and I am extremely determined to achieve this. 

I feel that this event really is something else and stands out in comparison to others, which is why I aim to work hard and achieve only the best when it comes to MCQP.
