  • About the event

Basically, next year I will be racing in a class of race car called Spec Ford Racers. They are a fully developed race car that have been around for many years. They use aFord 1.9L , 4 cylinder engine putting out a top speed over 130MPH in a package weighing around 1670 pounds, including the driver!

The racing will be conducted through CA, OR and of course WA. The calendar for next year is not released at this time but this year’s series had huge participation and had some great racing.

    Why should you sponsor?

Ive been involved I motorsport back home in Australia for many years and what I learnt there was sponsorship isn’t as much about the logo on the car like people think it is, even logos on race suits I think are a waste, no one can see them when you’re driving anyway.

Motorsports sponsrship is a team, being an ambassador, being a welcoming warm person in the pits so when people think of buying your products they remember the stand out race car and feel comfortable in approaching me about it.

It’s about the ride, creating events (social day at the local hire kart track for sponsors), communicating and generating leads but also giving back. Maybe for selected events we could also have an apprentice in the pits working on the race car, learning about something outside the ordinary. The package as I’m planning will be fun, I’m trying to work a deal where I can give a trip to Australia (Kangaroos, Koala, Beach and reef) to my major sponsors.

    Matthew Dicinoski

Im 29, married with one little dude and I live in the greater Seattle area.

I moved from Australia around 3 years ago.

Ive been involved in motorsport for since I was 15. I understand that in Motorsport, the sport part of it small. Some will disagree but whilst anyone seriouse should be keeping fit through the week and racing on the weekends. The business side of the sport is very important and often forgotton.
