About the event
Mariachi Alma de Mexico has been serving the local communities of Gilroy, Hollister, Morgan Hill, Watsonville, and San Jose for over a decade by providing children with various mariachi classes and opportunities. As a result of the academy’s hard work and dedication, their students have been able to learn how to sing, dance folkloric music, and play traditional Mexican music.
One of the Mariachi Alma de Mexico Academy traditions in serving the local community is the hosting of their annual Christmas Concerts. At these events, attendees are asked to donate a toy. By partnering with the Salvation Army, they are able to distribute all the toys that are collected along with money made from the tickets to local families that are in need during the holiday season. Each year they have been able to help hundreds of families and look to extend their touch even further this year. For the first time ever, Mariachi Alma de Mexico will be hosting a Christmas Concert in the city of San Jose, California and will be hosting the Grammy Award Winning Mariachi Los Camperos de Nati Cano! With The Point Church being the venue, an expected 800 people are expected to be in the audience. The people will vary from academy parents, to business leaders and is the perfect place for sponsors to exposed.
