About the event
A Mela meaning ‘festival’ beautifully describes an exciting summer outdoor event with an emphasis on cultural and artistic programme. They feature a mix of music, food, and information as well as all the fun of the fair. Mela’s are an excellent opportunity for the whole community to come together and celebrate irrespective of ethnic background. They provide a crucial link with the community and offer organization a valuable opportunity to target a captive audience.
Luton Mela which is an annual event held in Luton Bedfordshire which attracted over 22,000 people in 2014 and this year will be our 15 year anniversary and to mark the occasion we will be holding the event over 2 days with 2 stages in the park, The Main Stage and The World Stage.
This is a free event to the public and relies upon sponsorship. The event will be streamed live on TropicalFM internet TV Radio, and will be raising money and promoting the Keech Hospice charity
