About the event

Impromp2 Music brings live music featuring mainstream artists to under-served areas, while investing in music education programs within those communities. Love Past Valentine's is a post Valentine's Day benefit concert. A percentage of the proceeds will be donated to the Texarkana Academy of Musical Arts (TAMA) and students studying music at Texarkana College.

TAMA has been in business for 15 years, serving over 2,000 students with coaching in voice, piano, violin, brass and guitar. TAMA also teaches music theory, performance, sight singing and other extended musical abilities. Their goal is to help individuals "Discover the Gift of Music Within You". 

Texarkana College is a publicly-supported, two-year community college dedicated to serving the educational needs of diverse individuals, businesses and the community through relevant programs and services that are high quality, affordable and accessible. These programs are offered in an environment of excellence supported by a highly qualified, engaged and informed faculty and staff committed to promoting and increasing student achievement and success in the development of knowledge and skills necessary for a rapidly changing world.
