My name is Amadeus Roy, and I'm the Festival Director for the 2nd Annual Lost in the Woods Fest in Harper Woods, MI. Last year, we put together the city's first arts festival, which brought together 15 local artists and vendors and approximately 500 community members in attendance. It was a huge success, and we're excited to announce that we're expanding the festival this year!
The 2nd Annual Lost in the Woods Fest will take place on August 5, 2023, from 12-8 pm. We're planning 7 hours of live music, double the number of vendors, and additional attractions such as a basketball camp. We're expecting an even larger turnout this year, and we need your help to make this event a success.
As a community-oriented event, we're reaching out to our neighbors for support. Any financial assistance you can provide will help us cover the costs of event production, equipment rentals, artist fees, and marketing expenses. We're confident that your contribution will help us make this magical day a reality for our community.
We have a range of sponsorship options to fit any budget and offer a variety of ways to promote your business. Please take a moment to review the package and consider partnering with us for this exciting event.
Thank you for your time and consideration. If you have any questions or would like to discuss this opportunity further, please don't hesitate to reach out. We appreciate your support in helping us make the 2nd Annual Lost in the Woods Fest a huge success!
As a community driven event, our focus is to partner with companies and organizations who share in our values/goals of:
First and foremost, create an environment of community focused positivity and interactivity for all generations
Provide showcasing opportunities to up-and-coming artists/musicians
Provide a presence to community leaders in order to raise their voices for neighborhood growth and sustainability
Establish open connections between city officials and residents
Create outreach opportunities to local businesses to build further bonds with their community
Incentivize surrounding communities to build more relationships with Harper Woods
It is with these goals that we hope you connect with, and would wish to have the public see your company wanting to help make change towards. I believe it is only as a strong community, that we can enact great change.
My name is Amadeus Roy, I am an abstract constructionist painter, muralist, event organizer, and arts advocate for the eastside of Metro Detroit. My dedication to the eastside, Harper Woods primarily, has materialized in many opportunities to build creative momentum in the city I call home. This began by me painting Harper Woods' first ever public mural in 2022, along with directing the city's first arts festival to coincide with the unveiling of the mural. The event was such a success that I've been welcomed back by the Mayor to turn the festival into an annual event beginning this year. This event has became something the community has really grown fond of and look forward to eagerly. I have spent the last 8 months dedicated to executing this to the best of my ability, and along with my mentor, Irma Hayes, it will definitley be a big night for the community.
