Living Wax Museum,

About the event

Students will have the opportunity to do research on an African American historical figure. They will complete a research paper, as well dress in character as the historical figure. We will host a Living Wax Museum where students will play wax figures and come to life at the touch of a button to give a speech about who they are.

To give us the chance to make our event more successful than the years before. Each year we try to make it more special for our students, but limited funds make it a challenge. Please help support out students.

I am a 3rd grade teacher at Plumosa. This will be my third year hosting this event. I am dedicated to helping my students grow and learn more about our history. I would love to make this year our best year yet. In order to do that, I will need the help of an event decorator to help us transform our space into a red carpet style museum. On limited funds it's tough to do alone. I would appreciate any assistance.
