MMA has been called “the world’s fastest-growing sport,” which makes sense given it hasn’t been around that long. For instance, among 18-34 year-old fans in the United States, MMA is more popular than either the NHL or even NASCAR.  By sponsoring regional MMA events, you are helping showcase the hard work and dedication of men and women required of this sports.  This promotions has has been the stepping stone for fighters in the Pacific Northwest making their way to the UFC, Bellator, Strikeforce, M-1 Global, and other world wide organization. George Dodd

My name is George Dodd.  After Brian Halquist Productions closed this year, I wanted to keep quality live mixed martial arts action alive in the Pacific Northwest. I worked with Brian for three years and I saw the passion fight fans in the Pacific Northwest have for the sport.  I decided to keep the team together and created Northwest Fight Promotions.  As the previous Executive Officer of the California State Athletic Commission, I have over 14 years in combative sports both on the regulations side and the promotion side.  I am very excited to bring this event to Clark County Fairgrounds.  I want everyone that attends to have a fun and exciting experience whether this is there first MMA show or they have gone to others events in the past.
