Little Free Library in Dudelange ,

About the event

"Little Free library" is our new activity in the framework of the project "quartier en couleurs' organised in Dudelange, in the Italian and Schmelz neighbourhood. It’s a “take a book, return a book” gathering place where neighbors share their favorite literature and stories. In its most basic form, a Little Free Library is a box full of books where anyone may stop by and pick up a book (or two) and bring back another book to share. We want to put these small libraries in different areas of these two neighbourhoods like parks, bus station, schools etc. where people can exchange books, parents and children can enjoy reading outside, schools and kindergarden can organise activities outside school system. The idea of Little free library is very famous in a lot of countries and we want to implement as well here in Dudelange. As Dudelange is known for its multicultural side we want to promote to have books in different languages and for different ages.
