Why should you sponsor?
Christopher PerusseThe Whalers Youth Baseball Club was founded in the summer of 2014 as the Winsted 'Whalers Youth Baseball Club. The sole purpose of this club was to let the youth of Winsted,CT the chance to experiance youth travel baseball at a fraction of the cost. Since then we have grown to include other bording towns and with a name change to a less local name,Whalers Youth Baseball Club.
On July 15 thru 17th the Whale will be bringing Tag-em Tournament's Litchfield County Line Drive to Winsted,CT. This is a weekend long baseball tournament. Over 150 teams from 4 states have been invited to particiapate.
While Tag-em covers most of the cost, it still leaves the Whale a great deal of cost, such as field and maintance cost. Plus the cost of the town's field houses. We are asking for sponsors to step up and help with this cost so more of our profit goes directly to the youth of our program.
