About the event

TEDxSDSU has been an annual event since 2013.

For nearly ten years since the first event, TEDxSDSU has gained prestige and interest on and off campus. Selling out in less than a minute every year, every TEDxSDSU is a considerable success, unearthing interest in a wide variety of open-minded individuals excited to embark on the TEDx journey.

We are opening four times as many seats this year, creating a tremendous inspirational experience and a phenomenal networking opportunity for college students, potential employers, or businesses seeking a new way to promote their services or products.

Why should you sponsor?

In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience.

At these local, self-organized events, TED Talks videos and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in small groups.

The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx event sare self-organized.

My name is George Kaplan, and I currently serve as the Chief Financial Officer for TEDxSDSU. Once a year, our non-profit organization hosts a local and self-organized event that combines TED Talks and live speakers to spark discussion and connection within the community. Our 2023 event will be hosted on March 19th at Montezuma Hall and revolve around the theme of “Limitless?”.
