Lijah Bear Foundation Presents 1st Annual Orange Tie Gala,

About the event

Lijah Bear Foundation, Inc. will host its 1st Annual Orange Tie Gala and Silent Auction from 6 – 11 pm on Saturday, September 24, 2016, at the Calumet Country Club. The Gala is one of the Foundations most important fundraising events. Our goal is to raise $15,000 to help fund the programs and services that the Foundation provides to families in the Chicagoland area with children and youth going through any form of childhood cancer. These programs are a valuable source of information and support for families and for the professionals who serve them. While the Gala is a fundraiser, it is also a time to celebrate our work and to honor others for the work they do on behalf of families raising children with cancer. Chicago’s comic Lamarr Davis will emcee our dinner and awards ceremony. This year’s guest speaker will be Pediatric Oncologist Dr. Jason Canner. The evening will feature comedian Damen Williams. The menu will be chicken picatta, medley vegetables, duchess potatoes & salad for adults & your choice of hamburger or chicken tenders both with fries for children.
