About the event
Lights on Jupiter is a musical Christmas display of lights in Central Arkansas founded by 16 year old Shane Johnson, consisting of 3 HOUSES with of over 20,000 lights! All perfectly flashing to your favorite Christmas songs and our newest new addition of an 80’s Hits. Every year Lights On Jupiter collects donations for Make-A-Wish. In 2015, the first year we partnered with Make-A-Wish, we collected $1,202.37 and in 2016 we collected $1,305.

Lights On Jupiter is 100% self funded and receaves no personal donations. 100% of everything collected is automaticly donated to Make-A-Wish. We are asking for the support of others so we may to continure to grow our yearly event. Not only does this event benefit Make-A-Wish, but also provides much needed "Christmas spirit" in our local community for those of all ages to enjoy.
How many 16 years olds do you know that have raised over $2,500 for charity, much less that are already dedicating their lives to helping others?

Shane JohnsonMy name is Shane Johnson. I am 16 years old and was born and raised in Little Rock, Arkansas. I most value my faith, my family. In my free time, I like to work on computers, to ride my bicycle, and to work on my Christmas light show for the Make a Wish Foundation. When I enter college, I would like to study computer sciences, IT, Web development, or telecommunications. I have always loved technology and can do a lot with it. I have built several websites, I fix computers, and have even created my own phone system.
