Lifeshare Gala Dinner,

Manchester, England, United Kingdom Manchester, England, United Kingdom

  • About the event

The event is in aid of raising as much money as possible for Lifeshare - a homeless charity. They are a brilliant charity - they have a safe location that homeless people, particularly aged 16-25 but they accept everyone, can go to get away from the streets. They offer food, water, new clothing and activities that will help to rehabilitate them such as painting and drawing. This is a small charity that do amazing things but are in desperate need of money. Therefore, we aim to put on a fantastic event that will make loads of money for them.

For this we need money - something that we are extremely short of. We currently have a £0 budget for the event, meaning that we have to fundraise or get sponsorship to fund the event.

Please help us to put on a fantastic event for this incredible charity!!

    Why should you sponsor?

This is a really positive event to sponsor. It may not get the coverage of London Fashion Week or the Olympic Games but we will try our hardest to get the best coverage on this event that we can, meaning exposure of your company. Not only will you get exposure, but it will be positive. Helping to raise money for a charity is a very generous thing to do, this means that your public image will be extremely positive and create a great appearance for your company - which may bring about a growth in the amount of customers coming to you.

We are 4 students who are passionate about events and even more passionate about helping Lifeshare. There is a huge homelessness issue in Manchester which we have all witnessed and seeing the work that Lifeshare are doing makes us want to help them to continue this work for the sake of the homeless people in Manchester and Salford. The building in which they give food to the homeless is under threat of being turned into a Zumba class studio with other activities also taking place there - instead of it being a safe haven for the disadvantaged?!

We are just students who want to help a charity and need sponsorship help to do so, there is nothing sinister about what we are doing - ALL proceeds from the event goes to Lifeshare and none goes to us so there is no reason why you should be put off from sponsoring us. Please help us to support this small, struggling charity.
