We are delighted to invite you to join us in Bloomsbury, in the heart of London and the home of the UCL Institute of Education (IOE). For twelve years in a row the IOE has been ranked the Number One place to study Education in the QS World University Rankings by Subject, retaining its position in 2025.
Based within the IOE’s Psychology and Human Development Department, the UCL Centre for Inclusive Education (CIE) has the ambition to establish the London International Conference on Inclusive Education (LICIE) as an essential date in the conference calendar for educational practitioners, teachers, academics and parents.
Delegates will have access to cutting edge research being undertaken by academics from around the world, bringing together professionals from across the educational spectrum, to participate in a variety of stimulating sessions showcasing international perspectives on inclusion.
Of lasting value are the opportunities for networking such an event affords, making friends, connections and creating new partnerships, uncovering potential when colleagues from diverse disciplines find fresh and exciting avenues for collaboration in research, policy and practice.
The LICIE conference hosts 300+ researchers, university students, practitioners and policy makers with an interest in inclusive education. Sponsoring the conferene is an excellent opportunity for sponsors wishing to gain visibility with these groups, or wishing to support inclusive education more generally.
I am a lecturer in the department of Psychology and Human Development at University College London's Institute of Education, and the Deputy Director of the Centre for Inclusive Education, who host the LICIE conference.
