My name is Michelle Meeks the founder of Visage de Poupee cosmetics. You may refer to it as Doll face cosmetics if you please. At the moment, this is a sole proprietorship located in Dayton, Ohio.  I have been wanting to start my own business since 9^th grade. At the time I wasn’t really sure how to get started and of course I didn’t quite have the funds to do so being that I wanted to make an entire clothing line. I was quiet ambitious at such a young age id say. When I got to college I wanted to start a cosmetic makeup line. I got pretty well of into starting before I realized It didn’t represent me or who I am. The goal was to make affordable makeup because there has been a make-up craze over the past few years. I’m not a strong make up advocate so I left it alone and took a break from my entrepreneurish ways and realized what really means a lot to me, and that’s my skin. I’ve realized how obsessed I am with the appearance and health of my skin. Skin care is something I know about and care about as well. My friends always come to me with their questions about certain products. This is the reason I started Visage de Poupee because I want people to know ultimately what’s bad for their skin and why. Even if they don’t buy my products it’s a gain, gain situation. They gain knowledge of potential helpful and harmful ingredients and I know that I could’ve helped them in their decision in making their next skincare purchase.
