About the event
Hello!
My name is Shela Lawton and I am a Senior about to graduate from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in May. In about two Fridays, my school likes to celebrate the last day of class (LDOC) in style. I have been planning an epic block party for all to attend, and have put together a list of local NC musicians that have agreed to play some of their sets including Will Wildfire, No 9 to 5, and Well$. What I'm asking of you is to help sponsor this event because it is sure to be a big one all over social media, and receive great publicity...I noticed that my campus hosts multiple events that result in greatness, especially recently with Holi Moli and Jubilee 2015 (which hosted Rae Sremmurd). I have obtained all the necessary permits to throw my event, I just need about $2000-$3000 to make sure I have a stage and sound equipment appropriate. I want to be able to do this for my loving Carolina community because I was given the best four years of my life here, and I would love to be able to do something awesome in return.
