About the event
The forthcoming special event is the launch of the long awaited album and book from Magdalene.
She is a recording artist, solo singer/songwriter, an author, entrepreneur, vocal trainer, wealth of experience running several choirs. She holds BA in Music Industry Management from the University of East London, and she is married with 4 children.
The album and book is a depiction of the journey of Magdalene, highlighting the struggles and stigma faced as a teenage mum from family, church, community and society as a whole. To a place of fulfillment and against all odds she has been able to overcome, and now uses her motivating factor which is her love for music to successfully build a business called Music Relief, as well as utilizing the lyrics of her songs as an encouraging tool to help others going through similar or other forms of tragedies.
The launch is a celebration and a showing to the world that through it all, she has been able to overcome and is still standing strong.
Her newly launched website, elaborates further the story behind who Magdalene is and where she is going.
