"SPIRIT OF VALOR" LAPD MMA CHARITY EVENT,

About the event
The LAPD will be hosting its first Mixed Martial Arts event showcasing athletes competing in both MMA and Muay Thai. Our goal as the LAPD MMA team is to raise awareness and get more Police Officers nationwide to train in more self defense to better prepare them for the day to day hazards they face on the streets. The fighters will be a mix of Law enforcement, military, fire department and emergency medical services. We will be partnering with a local children’s charity in which the proceeds made from the event will be donated to them.
Why should you sponsor?
Sponsors will be able to utilize the event as a platform to advertise their company/brand.
The event will proudly have the sponsor name/logo displayed on several key landmarks of the police academy where the event will be held.
Sponsor logo will be displayed on Event T-shirt and Flyers.
The event will have several food and merchandise vendors that will also be used to advertise our sponsors.
The ring announcers and DJ would also publicly thank the sponsors during the event.
Most importantly the sponsors would be directly supporting “Journeys kickstart foundation” which is a non profit organization helping kids avoid the streets through martial arts and sports.
Sidney OliveiraThe LAPD MMA team was established late in 2016 by two best friends that happened to be partners and life long martial artists. We recognized the increasing nationwide trend in both violence against police officers and uses of force. The goal of the team is have a series of events that inspires Officers across the United States to incorporate more training in their regiment. We recognize the opportunities that this event will bring to law enforcement, the city and the charity.
