About the event

Land We Love is a humanitarian effort to help the economic infrastructure of Jamaica. We primarily focus on providing children and young adults with opportunities to grow and foster their lives to pursue their academic goals. Last year, we helped 10 students attend their dream schools through well-earned scholarships.

This year, we're growing our endeavors to assist 50 academically deserving students in Jamaica across high schools and universities in need of financial support. These students will receive $500 USD to go towards any academic fees, including books, school supplies, uniforms, and of course, tuition.

Why should you sponsor?

Many of these students are struggling to afford their education, and this scholarship may be the only way they can achieve their future career paths.

All overhead is covered by Land We Love ourselves, which in turn means that all funds raised will go directly towards the scholarships. As such, we depend on the generosity of donors like yourself to achieve this goal.

Land we Love will be hosting a Scholarship Luncheon on April 4th, 2020 to honor the scholarship winners and those who donated. This luncheon will serve as both a celebratory thank you and offer a chance for you to meet the students your contribution is helping.

As such, we primarily focus on providing children with the opportunities to grow and foster their lives to better pursue their academic and creative dreams.

 

From then on, we concentrate on the overall career development of all young adult Jamaicans. By utilizing the resources and skills currently found on the island, we aim to bring about tangible change to see an improved Jamaica.
