The event will take place 15th August 2014 in London Borough of Lambeth.
Event we are organizing
We are looking forward to organize 1st Girls empowerment conference aiming at raising awareness for girls to stay safe, healthy and bold in the home, school and community. It is an awareness raising campaign and knowledge acquiring for girl’s in Lambeth in London.
Main themes and Goals (Theme: Girls stay SAFE, HEALTHY and BOLD)
Girls need to speak out, they should be heard and seen as well as be treated equally as boys. Girls can lead and be part of any discussion whether in the home, school and community. Girls everywhere should fulfill their full potential regardless of social, sexuality, religious and economic class.

We will work on the same format in different topics and activities.
Number of participants
We are working on (50) girls and the majorities are girls from Lambeth and will invite friends from other boroughs in London South East.

Our activities are accessible to girls from all works of life including those with disabilities and sexuality issues.
The hired building for this event has a disable access for wheel chair users and non wheel chair users. We will invite disable girls to the program and equal opportunities will be given to all.
Advancement of girl’s right and human rights
We believed that an empowered girl is an empowered woman and by enabling those girls to express themselves and achieve this could advance achievement of girl’s human right. For this reason we take a pro active approach towards addressing issues affecting girls in all level.
