About the event

Mission:

To provide space in academia to empower La Chola through the arts, her participation in society, education and beyond.

Vision:

To hold space for the cultural, scholastic, artistic, and institutional presentation of La Chola.

We are pleased to announce our upcoming event titled, “La Chola Conference” at MiraCosta College on April 23rd-24th, 2020. This community-run two-day event will focus on the Latina community, education, and research practices, which we find timely and important topic for our region. We estimate approximately 300 persons will attend this event. Our college finds great value on this eventful conference and we are enthusiastic to invite you to be an event sponsor, through food and supplies.  We are happy to acknowledge your organization at our event (unless you prefer to remain anonymous).
