The Kollaboration Houston showcase is our flagship event for the year where we create an action-filled, captivating, and professional-grade production showcasing Asian American talent. The winner, chosen from the most talented of API artists around Houston, moves onto Kollaboration’s STAR in Los Angeles.

Kollaboration is an organization dedicated to empowering aspiring, talented Asian and Pacific Islander (API) youth by providing resources and opportunity to accomplish their goals as artists while providing quality entertainment for the community. Kollaboration was founded by in 2000 by Executive Director Paul “PK” Kim. Under the guidance of Executive Producer Roy Choi, it gained official status as a 501(c)(3) non‐profit organization in January 2006 and is now recognized both nationally and abroad, with 13 city chapters in North America. Kollaboration’s mission is, “Empowerment through Entertainment.”

Kollaboration Houston is one of the top chapters in the nation, and we intend to keep it that way. With a deep bench of creative talent and six very successful showcases under our belt, we are writing a new chapter within our organization with expanded social media content and a number of brand new events. Home to the most diverse county in the nation, Great Houston has been a leader in culture, wealth, and innovation, and Kollaboration Houston carries that spirit as it seeks to both empower and transform its community.
