Kokomo Wings and Wheels is a free airshow and car cruise-in located at the Kokomo Municipal Airport in Kokomo, Indiana. Since beginning 8 years ago, we have had an average of 3,000 to 4,000 attendees. It is a family-friendly event featuring aerobatic demonstrations, Warbird expos, static aircraft displays, and food vendors. Our show features world-famous pilots Rob Holland, of the U.S. Unlimited Aerobatic Team, and Kevin Coleman -- a first-time pilot in the RedBull Air Race 2016. All proceeds from the event will go towards a charity for the family of a fallen member of the Howard County Sheriffs Department, Deputy Carl Koontz, who lost his life in the line of duty on March 20, 2016. The proceeds will help to financially support his widow and young son. In order to make the fundraiser as successful as possible, it is important that we get as many sponsorships as possible to cover the costs of putting on the show. Any help provided is greatly appreciated.
By supporting the Kokomo Wings and Wheels fundraising event, sponsors will help cut out-of-pocket costs provided by the organizers so that as much of the proceeds as possible go towards the Koontz family.
Kokomo Wings and Wheels is organized by the community at the Kokomo Municipal Airport, the City of Kokomo, and the Wild family. Each year, we strive to make the show better than the last. To do so, we must gain sponsorships to keep the cost of the show to the organizers to a minimum, as well as to keep the show free.
