About the event
Young Nubian girls are so under pressure by the media and their peers. This Pageant will encourage young girls to embrace and love their natural hair. I am a Sickle Cell Awareness Activist and the Pageant will also help to promote Sickle Cell Disease. On the day there will be Public speakers taking about the affects of Sickle cell Disease. We also have entertainers. This will be a family event. So I am expecting this to be a community event.
