  • About the event

Ultimately, this event is about the Law Enforcement Community, Business Community, Education Community, Religious Community and the Poitical Community coming together to reduce and one day eradicate youth gun violence, which has plagued so many family in the USA. We will have lunch and dialogue to see exactly how these 5 main communities can parnter to make Kansas City a better place for everyone.

    Why should you sponsor?

This event will be widely recognized through media, both locally and natially. It is one of those "once in lifetime" type of events, because of who our host are, Sekyiwa "Set" Shakur, sister of Tupac Shakur and Omar Gooding, brother of Cuba Gooding, Jr. Youth gun violence is a major issue in our City and across the country, so bringing somone like Set Shakur, who's brother was also killed by gun violence in a high progile case, is what makes her the perfect person to host an event such as this one.

A few days before the event, Set & Omar will also visit several schools in Kansas City and your sponsorship will help make this possible. The youth in Kansas City are very important to us and an opportunity for them to meet Shakur & Gooding, would be one the biggest treats that you as a sponsor can give.
