About the event
Our prisons and jails house thousands of men and women from all walks of life who are in bondage to many forms of addictions, and for some, prisons and jails have become a place of shelter and safety from the criminal war zone of the streets. "IF I HAD NOT COME TO PRISON, I WOULD BE DEAD RIGHT NOW"
But for some the outcry to be free from the bondage of addictions and criminal behavior's is loud, and the desperate desire for change grows deep. " But the only way to freedom, is through a transformation of behavior, mind, spirit and life."That is where "From Bondage to Freedom" prison ministry step into these prisoners lives to give them hope. In light of the men and women in bondage, we have planned to provide shelters for those who are not able to get the second chance needed to survive.
FBTF is providing their first annual Fundraiser Tournament for Speed Dominoes to help the indigent to have that second chance to get back on their feet God's way and live a prosperous life. Our Dominoes Tournament will provide proceeds to those who are waiting for shelter when they are released from prison. They will get GED's, receive budget training, life skills, learn boundaries, and how to respect themselves enough to say no to illegal drugs, and bad relationships.
