As you have advertised in the Aston Villa programme in thepast you may be the type of company who would be interested in Sponsoring avery special Book Launch in the West Midlands.

Let me tell you a bit about me and my book. As well as beinga complete Villa nut (with my FA Cup Final ticket safely tucked away) I am awriter of fictional comedy books usually set in the 1980’s. My latest book ismy most exciting project to date and also the reason for this email. Due to bereleased early in July is ‘Just 14’. The story of a 14 year old boy followinghis beloved Aston Villa during the amazing 1980/81. It is a similar style toNick Hornsby’s ‘Fever Pitch’. Fictional yet based on the real football events.Every Villa game and goal of that season are mentioned in the story.

The boy in the book following many of the games that seasonvia local Radio and local newspapers. Pre-orders for the book have alreadyclose to a 1000 and interest on social media is very high. To make sure theVilla facts in the book are correct I have been in frequent contact with bothVilla Historian Frank Holt and former Radio Presenter Tony Butler.

The reason for this email is to see if you might considerbeing our Event Sponsor at our Book Launch on Thursday 9th July at the famousCleveland Arms Sports Bar (http://clevelandarms.com/).An event which will be attended by at least two members of the 1980/81 Villachampionship winning team.

The cost of sponsoring the event would be £3000. This wouldinclude your brand on all advertising and press releases. Option to have somekind of stand at the event which is being held at a major Sports Bar in the WestMidlands. Free VIP access to some of your employees or key customers. Youcompany’s name and contact details in the acknowledgements section in the book.

As you can see an option to really advertise your brand atan event that will attract around 400 people.
