Student leaders from 5 institutions of higher learning in the Gauteng region, namely University of Johannesburg, University of the Witwatersrand, Tshwane University of Technology, University of Pretoria and Central Johannesburg College, in partnership with The Creative Age would like to form a partnership with the cooperate on a major event seeking to raise funds for student tuition.
As a collective we have planned to host the Jozi Campus Shutdown Benefit Concert in which all the proceeds of the event will be put into a trust that will help students to fund their studies next year.
The event seeks to tackle socio-economic issues that are affecting our youth, mainly university students. Organisations such as love live, IOHA etc. will be present on the day to offer their services and engage with students on responsible citizenship.
We invite Sponsors for the event and to also promote responsible drinking by inviting the Dry Drive campaign to feature at the event as well as campus activations which will tour the 5 universities in the weeks leading up to the main event.
