About the event

Our annual Fall Fundraiser is a market with vendors, food, community yard sale, Author meet and greet, Art Show and more. 

Why should you sponsor?

Dear Friends and Supporters:

This time last year, we had just been granted access to our current facility but we were not yet open. It is with great pride that we see how far we have come since then. We now have a running library with great circulation and some programs that benefit all of our residents. We run solely on donations and volunteer efforts and are not funded by any municipal monies. With that in mind, it is necessary to conduct fundraising events in order to maintain funding for these programs and cover operating expenses. It has been through your donations and interest that we have gotten this far. Please help us continue to provide the below services while growing our budget to include more desired services.

This list of services, is either already in place or is planned for the future. Those services in bold text are already being offered.

• Literature in multiple formats (books, cds, dvds, etc)

• Technological services which allow citizens “to find work, apply to college, and secure government benefits

• Emergency Shelter

• Resource Center for those in need and community rooms for meeting space

• Deliver products or services (Use of computers, printers, copiers, and/or other office services)

• Safe environment for kids in the community

• Programs and Resource for educational purposes (i.e. GED and ESL)

• Location in which tutoring sessions can be held

• Visiting Scholar and Speaker Series

• Story Time for Young Readers

• Senior and Veterans services

• Display spaces for local artisans

  How can you help? We are currently looking for businesses that are interested in providing sponsorship for some of our fundraising activities.

  Not only is sponsorship a great way to support our community, but also an avenue to market your goods and/or services. The Jarrell Community Library is a registered 501(c)(3) charity, so your gift is tax deductible. Copy the form below as your receipt, returning one copy with your donation. Note: Event specific sponsorship levels may vary from event to event.

My name is Brandi Lacey, I am the President of the Friends of the Jarrell Community Library. We just started our first Friends group and are excited to start annual fundraisers to support our library that runs on donations alone.
