Its Our 2020 Fall 2020 College Fair,

About the event

We would like to provide the students of Berks county access to college recruiters this fall season, without having to travel too far from home. We will be hosting OuR Fall 2020 College Fair at the YMCA of Reading on November 14^th,2020. So, we would like to coordinate with several businesses in the city to provide them with the tools and resources that are needed to have a successful and informative experience. 

Why should you sponsor?

We are a community organization that started because we believe that if the community around OuR children does not provide the resources for them to succeed, then it is OuR responsibility to make sure that the resources are available. We formed this organization with a group of parents, teachers, coaches and mentors, when we realized that many teenagers who are on the precipice of graduating or had already graduated high school, were severely unprepared for the next chapter of their adult life. Whether that meant secondary education, the work force or even parenthood, we were very disappointed in the lack of preparation that is given to the majority of the city’s children. So, we decided to ban together and make a change.
