About the event
The Annual Awards Luncheon and Workshop draws over 200 people from communities across the entire state of Iowa. This event honors communities that have achieved Tree City USA status in the past year. In addition, the luncheon honors individuals and organizations that have shown leadership and drive in the field of urban forestry in Iowa. Sponsors will have wonderful reach with this event. Every community and organization in attendance has a picture taken with the event logo as well a sponsor logos; these photos are included in press releases sent to every community that participated. Logos are also included on banners at the front of the hall, as well as on table tents at every table. There is also a moment in the program where the MC thanks all the sponsors individually, taking time to express gratitude for the support.
