About the event
The Iowa City Jazz Festival has presented our community with some of the best jazz musicians from around the world for 25 years. Named one of the Top 10 Jazz Festivals in the nation, this free music event is held on the University of Iowa Pentacrest and streets of downtown Iowa City. Showcasing a variety of well-known jazz musicians and an infusion of up-and-coming talent, you are sure to enjoy the music from all four stages!
The Main Stage is set up in front of the Old Capitol Building and features some of the world’s most influential jazz personalities. Tom Harrell, Dr. Lonnie Smith, Cyrille Aimee, and the Heath Brothers have all wowed audiences at this three day event.
Additionally, three side stages come alive on the nearby streets providing great music during each Main Stage break. The Youth and College Stages feature performers from throughout the Midwest sharing their talent and their love of jazz. The Local Stage highlights Eastern Iowa Jazz Bands who are known both near and far!Why should you sponsor?
