About the event

Youth of Hope is a non-profit organization based in Malaysia. The organization started in 2010, as an Islamic Society (ISOC) based at SEGi University, Kota Damansara. Since then, we have opened branches in other universities as well. The main purpose of youth of hope is to serve the youth by reconnecting them to

the greater purpose of life.

The club has organized lectures with International speakers, fund raising campaigns for refugees, homeless people and also performed charity trips around a couple of orphanages in Malaysia. In addition, Youth of Hope has been awarded the ‘Most Outstanding Club’ award for the year 2014-2015. At present we are working on several projects with the sole purpose of benefitting the youth.  One of the most important upcoming events is International Youth festival.  It is a skill based conference which focuses on the problem related to the youth and their solution.

Malaysia is a country filled with youngsters, both local and international. They are either students or interns taking their first step towards a life filled with challenges. At this stage many of us cannot handle the pressure and fall prey to different sorts of addiction and problems.  The primary aim of this event is to bring together both local and international youth from around Malaysia, for mutual support, education and inspiration. For this festival we intend to invite International speakers from around the world who have influence over the youth. Some notables are Dr. Mohammad Al Arefe, Mufti Menk and Boona Mohammad. The speakers will be discussing with the audience about the vision in life and how they can change their lives for better. We are expecting the number of audience to be more than 3000 and the conference will take place in PWTC . Our festival is planned to be held in the mid of April and it will be marketed on our website, social media and in different universities of Malaysia. Furthermore, we are planning to televise the event on global TV channels in order to reach a wider audience.

Our Secondary goal is to launch a youth center, through which we can connect with the youngsters. We aim to improve their lives through character development training and other programs such as youth talk which focus on youth issues and provides solution accordingly. Moreover, counselling and soft skill development courses will also be held in the center. This is a big step on our journey to reach our long term vision and it can be made possible by the resources and talents available in Malaysia.
