About the event
The International Student Energy Summit (SES) is a global forum that focuses on sustainable resource management and the role that students will play in defining the future of energy development. SES is Student Energy’s pinnacle event and targets international, multidisciplinary post secondary students in undergraduate and graduate studies interested in energy.
SES occurs every two years at academic institutions around the world. The internationally recognized event has hosted high profile energy leaders such as Richard Jones (Executive Director of the International Energy Agency) and Sri Mulyani (Managing Director and COO of the World Bank) among hundreds of other speakers. The Student Energy Summit 2015 brought together over 650 students from more than 100 countries.

Shobhit AroraI am an undergraduate student in my final year of Engineering in Electronics and communication from one of the renowned college in India, N.S.I.T(Netaji Subhas Institute of Technology). I have worked with some of the Tech giants as Intern like O.N.G.C(Oil and Natural Gas Corporation), Airtel,B.E.L(Bharat Electronics Ltd) and D.M.R.C( Delhi Metro Rail Corporation Ltd). I am also selected as Hardware Engineer at Research and Development Samsung. I want to be the part of this event because its a great opportunity to get connected to some of the great minds from all over the world who are concerned over this important issue. I will get opportunity to learn from people joining this event from across the world and would help me to contribute towards the society.
