About the event

The Indonesian Student Organization at Texas A&M University (PERMIAS- TAMU) would like to take this opportunity to share with you of the upcoming Indonesian Festival that we will be hosting on April 23, 2016 at The Texas A&M University Architecture Quad. The Indonesian Festival is a one-day cultural event that aims to introduce Indonesian culture to the Texas A&M community. Similar to the annual Brazos Valley Festival concept, the event will showcase Indonesian music, dance performances, cuisines, cultural displays and traditional games. With all the thoughts and preparations that we’ve put into, the Indonesian Festival will be our biggest annual event, and this event would not be possible without your generous support.

Supporting the Indonesian Festival provides you with the unique opportunity to promote diversity and international awareness. Last November, we had the opportunity to introduce Indonesian culture through the Brazos Valley Festival. Our interactive cultural booth attracted many visitors and we managed to have our food sold out. In addition, the uniqueness of Indonesian culture helped us to win 2nd place for Cultural Display during the event. We believe through our success at the Brazos Valley Festival, we will be able to initiate Indonesian Festival this year and set the threshold for the future success of this event.We believe the Indonesian Festival will leave a lasting memory about the richness of Indonesian culture to the Texas A&M community and beyond. We are confident that the success of this new event will bring mutual benefits for our sponsors and our organization.
