This year, we are excited to launch our chapter’s newest initiative, Google Solutions Incubator Program powered by GDSC McMasterU. The Solutions Incubator brings together McMaster University’s tech community’s most creative, enthusiastic and passionate students for a phenomenal 9-week program of building, problem ideation, prototyping, and mentorship to create groundbreaking projects. Whatever their focus may be - healthcare, education, environment, accessibility — students strive to create a positive impact through their ideas and projects. At the end of the program students will have created a working prototype of a software product which they can show to future employers. At our showcase event, groups will pitch their product to community organizations, industry mentors, recruiters and program participants. A speed networking opportunity will be provided for students to network with recruiters from top tech companies.
By partnering with us, you will get an opportunity to network with hundreds of self-motivated students and potential interns. In addition, we would love to promote your company on our media platforms, branding/news campaigns, and even give you the option to host your very own workshop to demo your product with student programmers!
GDSC strives to teach fellow university students the importance of technical skills through a hands-on environment where students are encouraged to work with new equipment and create projects beyond their current skill set. We have been hosting various workshops, information sessions, and collaborative opportunities for learners of all levels to challenge themselves at a comfortable, yet driven pace.
