Immersive Afro-Caribbean Brunch,

Suya Joint Restaurant, Boston, Massachusetts, United States Suya Joint Restaurant, Boston, Massachusetts, United States

  • About the event

Join us for a Spotlight on Afro-Caribbean Culture through Food! Hosted by La Conexión at Suya Joint.

We asked ourselves what makes being Afro-Caribbean beautiful? Challenging? Unique? We know these are hard questions to answer, but we approached it the only way we know how, through food and storytelling.

The intersection between Africa and the Caribbean runs deep. For decades the Afro-Carribean experience has remained invisible to mainstream media until now with the rising popularity of Reggaeton, Afrobeats music, and film.

We invite you to an immersive Afro-Caribbean brunch, where you will have an opportunity to network with young professionals, taste West African and Caribbean Food, listen to great music, and learn about the immigrant experience.

    What to expect:

    • Music
