About the event
Dear Sir/Madam,
Our group Imagine is a new community group made up of mainly Christians - Muslims and will be adding new members of all backgrounds soon.
Our group's aims is to copy the John Lennon song Imagine, which is based on creating a dream not based on using elements that divides society. We are living in a very vulnerable period in which we are very disunited and hatred from all sides is just building and not stalling. The group's aims is to unite people of all sub-cultures from within the community to unite them to work with police and stamp out extremism, criminal gangs and drugs and to make all our communities safer for the very young to the very old.
In my day job, I am a Nurse in a Hospital and we see elderly patients telling me of the time they never locked their doors. I am unsure whether this is entirely true but my own parents have told me that Christians, Sikhs, Muslims and Hindus would be friends with one another and support each other but as time grew; division emerged and now I and many people as well as the elderly, disabled and children are often at risk from high potential risks within our societies made up of gangs and extremists that exploit situations.
We are launching our new group Imagine... to combat such ills.
Our first act for the community is to unite them through food, dances, performances and speakers from all faiths to condemn intolerance, extremism, racism and gangs and to promote the local people regardless of race, religion or sexual orientation to stand united for humanity.
John Lennon's Imagine was as he said a dream, why can't we make such dreams a reality?
We have a date, location but need sponsors to support this event not only will we promote those companies that help us but this will move our group, forward so that the dream of a unified event can make the dream of a unified society very real

We are seeking sponsors who can help with funds for our event, those companies that provide us with such funds will have their company on all flyers and posters to promote their business. In the future we will also promote that company and as our group is growing and we are expecting a turnout of 2,500 people then a large number of people will have their attention of the companies generosity and this itself is advertising our sponsor.
