About the event
The I'm From Driftwood Spring Brunch is an annual event to raise funds to support operations and programming for I'm From Driftwood, The LGBT Story Archive. Now in it's 3rd year, the brunch welcomes 150+ fabulous Philadelphians to mix and mingle over food, drinks and live jazz in the beautiful courtyard of the John C. Anderson Apartments.
Why should you sponsor?
Becoming a sponsor for the IFD Spring Brunch Fundraiser will provide your organization repeated exposure and impressions. In addition to the event being promoted on I’m From Driftwood’s own network, including its website, email list, Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter, other media will cover the event before and after.
The I’m From Driftwood Spring Brunch is a great way for you to show your commitment to the LGBTQ community. The friendly, supportive environment creates a great opportunity to develop new business contacts and provides a unique networking opportunity. Your company name and/or logo will appear on the event’s poster and in promotional materials, including the official event website.
Demographics: The crowd will consist mostly of gay men and lesbians, 21-45, who live in an urban environment. Attendees are active on social media, work in creative and tech industries, and are passionate about causes and helping the LGBTQ community.

Founded in 2009, I’m From Driftwood is a nonprofit organization dedicated to recording and sharing the stories of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer people of all backgrounds. Our Weekly Video Stories are shared freely online, educating people about the joys, challenges and complexities of LGBTQ lives, and increasing empathy in our viewers.
Through the power of storytelling and story sharing, we envision a world where every LGBTQ person feels understood and accepted, and every straight person is an ally. I’m From Driftwood is a rare, diverse and growing cultural and historical collection, a global online archive that brings to life the experiences of LGBTQ people everywhere, which is especially important in countries where we are silenced and invisible.
