About the event

This Women's event is designed to empower, encourage and educate women in 5 key areas of personal growth and wellness to enable them to live their highest potential.  Years of doing for others often leaves women stuck, frustrated and fatigued, unable to see their purpose and find passion in life.  Sharing stories of adversity and struggles, our speakers illuminate strategies to empower women to move out of their places of low self worth and take back their joy.  Unraveling the layers of doubt & negativity that may have led to health issues allows us to "get our glow back", in order than we can illuminate the world with more love.

The event also provides an arena for women in business to support eachother with tools for professional and personal develpment via vendor booths, a healthy farm to table lunch, and an afterhours event.

The host of this conference, Illuminating Women, LLC is an expanding women's org. in the greater Seattle area, with over 900 members.  We have a diverse reach, and have a passion to provide educational opportunities, support and outreach to many more women in the area.  Visibility from this and future Illuminating Women events will gain awareness  for your company/brand as we grow exponentially.   Currenlty, our women attend from a 100 mile radius and our connections are numerous.

Tammy Smith

I have been a Licensed Physical Therapist for over 30 years, working primarily with women, many suffering from chronic pain, as I had for years.  It became evident that women needed to heal on a deeper emotional level before they could heal on a physical one. I left the traditional medical field 2 years ago to expand my education into the field of health coaching, attending the Institute of Integrative Nutirition.  As I've cleaned up my negative self talk and old messaging that wasn't serving me, it's become easier to make healthier lifestyle choices.  It is my passion to assist women in this journey by connecting them to their stories and providing them with healers and faciliatators in our area in order to do so.  My message is to get women moving their bodies in ways that bring joy in a safe fun environment with a supportive network of girlfriends and learn how to practice better self care.  We are caregivers, and particularly the sandwich generation, must learn to put ourselves first in order to have the resilience to come out of life's challenges with some passion and joy left in our hearts.
