About the event

I Will Tell is a powerful celebration of impactful dramas, documentaries, animations and short films from across the world. As well as a staggering line­-up of films, we host high profile inspirational speakers from community leaders to country Ambassadors. This year’s speakers include Dionne Walker, award-winning producer of THE HARD STOP, Chi-chi Nwanoku OBE, founder of Chineke!; Europe’s first majority Black & minority ethnic (BME) Orchestra & Junior Orchestra; Film directors: James Pinedo (THE EXTROVERT), Mischa Marcus (I AM STILL HERE), Jonas Schaul (KINGSTON CROSSROADS) and Producers and other filmmakers from the UK, USA and Europe as well as inspirational community leaders.

The festival will screen new films tackling powerful and urgent issues such as racism, homelessness, child sexual exploitation, the environment and immigration. But it’s not only social issues, the musical force is strong in this year’s festival, with the roots revival in KINGSTON CROSSROADS, jazz as a force for good in SWEET DILLARD, the story of a phenomenal African American woman’s  classical music in CAGED BIRD and a spectacular closing gala.

We encourage flmmakers,inspire festival goers and shine a light on the hidden stories of the Other.

Jenny Lee

Jenny Lee graduated with a first class degree in Mathematics and Philosophy before training to become an actuary. After a number of years in the financial services, her passion to make a difference in the world led her to start the I Will Tell International FIlm Festival which she has been running for 11 years with great success, recently announcing the expansion of the festival to the US later this year.

Jenny is an extreely hard-working, committed person who operates with transparecy and integrity. Her passion is to share love, hope, creativity and beauty with others in a way that is meaningful, relevant and fun.
