About the event

I AM Fabulous is a Fashion Week MN  event featuring woman ages 50+ with a zest for life and fashion. I AM Fabulous will be held from 11 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., Sunday, April 23, at Hewing Hotel.

Beauty and style should be celebrated at every age.  I AM Fabulous is a fashion show event that features women ages 50+ and their personal style. This empowering event will inspire women of all ages, so bring a mother, grandma, best friend, sister, or daughter to celebrate being fabulous.  

The morning begins with brunch in the ballroom of the Hewing Hotel. Guests can drink mimosa’s and listen to live music while shopping at the pop-ups in the library. A flower wall photo booth provided by Artemisia, makes for a perfect picture moment. The fashion show will feature the model’s own personal style, as well as some added glam from stylists at Arc’s Value Village.

“I believe everyone should feel special for who they are and their unique story,” said Sarah Edwards, founder and producer of I AM Fabulous, "By creating an event that celebrates women ages 50+ I'm hoping to inspire everyone to understand the importance of loving yourself and having fun at every point in your life.”

Sarah Edwards is a soulful fashion stylist and innovative event producer, Sarah creates unique experiences that intertwine community, art, goodwill and fashion. A few of her projects include I AM MPLS!, I AM ST. PAUL!, and I AM Kindness.

Sarah is driven by helping & connecting ideas and people that she believes in. She created I AM MPLS! five years ago with no expectations in growing it into what it is today. Sarah is fueled by the entrepreneurial energy and collaborative spirit of the Twin Cities.
