Peter Zakhar

Peter is a passionate individual with a deep sense of the global and self-aware mindsets. He is always passionate to learn and help people, and in order to do so, he gets involved with the most fruitious activities possible. To elevate others, him and his 2 co-founders founded a start-up called 'CLOSWAP' which created an innovative marketplace to exchange clothes between individuals, prolonging the lifetime value of clothing and focusing on sustainability, social impact and reducing the costs swappers have to pay in the acquisition of clothes. He is a natural leader and is currently leading multiple teams, notably an startup incubator of his own, Hult Founder's Lab. Upon joining it last year with his startup, he took upon the role of President, managing a team of 20+ people to help a current intake of 100 startup founders to bring their ideas to reality. 

At the same time, Peter has a burning desire to make a change in the world through debate. He utilises his public speaking skills by attending Model United Nations (MUN) conferences to help create a vision for a better tomorrow. After only joining his debating team last year, he has won 5 awards for his diplomacy skills, most notably winning first place at a conference in Paris organized by Harvard 'WorldMUN'. Currently, he serves as the Head of External relations for his team, but also hosts regular trainings in order for young delegates to improve the diplomacy and speaking skills. At the same time, he chairs MUN conferences internationally to maintain fruitful debate on all occasions and encourage learning, specialising in crisis management.

Peter aims to remove all economic inequality from the world by encouraging conscious spending and innovative circular systems that businesses could utilise in their day to day work. He recently started sharing his vision through becoming a host on a podcast called 'Voices of Hult', a platform for university students, alumni and staff to share their experiences and wisdom.
