#IGetIt: A Conversation on Respecting Men and Women In the Now is a fully virtual mini conference to be held on Sunday, January 30, 2022 coinciding with January 30 as Human Trafficking Awareness Day. This mini conference will be from 10am – 1pm with an online link.
#IGetIt: A Conversation on Respecting Men and Women In the Now is a conversational conference for everyone to affirm that to attain a violence free community it starts with each one of us, it starts with ME.
#IGetIt: A Conversation on Respecting Men and Women In the Now aims to start the conversation on respect and the negative effects of using language that blames victims, objectifies women (or anyone perceived as beautiful) and normalizes sexual harassment.
#IGetIt: A Conversation on Respecting Men and Women In the Now conference targets young people, because an early education on how to respect men and women in the now can prevent violence in the future.
