Horses Bring Hopes 3rd Annual Gala,

  • About the event

    This event is to benefit Horses Bring Hope a non-profit 501c3 organization. Horses Bring Hope provides therapeutic horseback riding to children and adults of all ages. Horses Bring Hope owns 17 wonderful horses that are able to provide therapy to children and adults on a daily basis. We hold this event in the fall of each year to raise funds to care for the horses through the winter. During the winter, the horses require more protein intake to maintain a healthy weight through the colder months as it is harder for them to maintain a healthy weight. Becuase of the need for more food intake, all 17 horses eat virtually double (sometimes triple) what they would in the summer time. All the funds raised at this event will go directly towards the grain and hay that we need to purchase to get our horses through the winter months. Without all of our amazing horses, our program wouldnt move as smoothly as it does. The horses change the lives of humans every day, so it is important that they receive the best care possible. Horses Bring Hope greatly appreciates all of our supporters that come to our event yearly, as well as newcomers. 

     

    Why should you sponsor?

    If your organization is looking to sponsor a program that changes the lives of children and adults with disabilities, Horses Bring Hope would be a great program for you to support. Horses Bring Hope has changed countless lives for the better in many different ways. What Horses Bring Hope does is hard to put into words, so we encourage you to hear about our program through the voices of our students, parents, and volunteers in our documentary that is located on this page as well as on the home page of our website horsesbringhoperi.org. Sponsors of this event will be featured on our website and facebook page which both have close to 1,000 followers. They would also be acknowledged in our program brochure that will be handed out during the event. In addition, our program director will recognize sponsors during her speech at the event. We also plan to have a large sign that features all of the sponsors hanging near the entryway of the banquet hall. This year our event is being held at The Shriners Imperial Room in Cranston, Rhode Island. The Rhode Island Shriners is a fraternal organization with a prominent presence in our state, and we are thankful that they have supported not only HBH, but other programs like us too. We are expecting over 200 guests from all over the state of Rhode Island that are either directly involved with our organization, or are a part of communities that we make a difference in.

    Horses Bring Hope is a 501-c3 non-profit organization located in Wakefield, RI that offers therapeutic horseback riding lessons to individuals with disabilities all over the state.  In our three years of operation, we have improved the lives and spirits of children and adults with conditions including anxiety, ADHD, autism, epilepsy, partial paralysis, and leukemia, just to name a few.  We are truly committed to serving our students and providing the best care for the horses that allow us to change lives.

We hold a silent auction at our gala, so anything that could be auctioned off would be greatly appreciated. You are welcome to donate items of any nature as our audiences interests are in a wide range. By donating an item, one can choose to get their own name/ and or business name recognized in the places listed below as well as a visual display on the table if one wishes to do so. In exchange for a donation, a large poster thanking the donor for their generosity, a verbal acknowledgment at the event, a spot on our website, and a spot on our Facebook page

Dessert Sponsor

Although this event is being catered, the dessert portion is not, so any donation would be greatly appreciated. Babysitting

Previously, parents have had to skip out on our events because they were not able to get a babysitter for their children. As our Gala's are more adult oriented, children do not attend this event. We are looking to pay the 2 babysitters $15-$20 per hour for 4 hours. If you would like to sponsor a babysitter so that parents of children that benefit from our organization will be able to attend our event that would be greatly appreciated.In exchange for a donation, a large poster thanking the donor for their generosity, a verbal acknowledgment at the event, a section in the program, and a spot on our Facebook page will be provided if one wishes to be acknowledged. Donors will also be featured on our website if they choose to be publicly recognized.
