ABOUT HOLIDAY BASKETS
CRC’s 35th Annual Holiday Baskets is San Diego’s largest distribution program, providing a dignified and free “shopping experience” for families and individuals in need. With the incredible support of volunteers and local partners, we provide
low-income households with a holiday meal, food staples, outerwear and a few gifts to brighten their holidays.

Jingle & Mingle
CRC’s Jingle & Mingle is a festive, invitation-only event that takes place partway through the two-week set-up at the Fairgrounds. This event is an opportunity to get a behind-the-scenes look at the distribution site before CRC opens the doors to hundreds of families.

• Make the holidays brighter for local families by supporting a program that gives thousands in need food, clothing, necessities and a few gifts for the holidays.
• Get positive community exposure to over 5,000 people throughout the holiday season, including volunteers, Community Resource Center supporters, community leaders and Holiday Baskets recipients.

Established in 1979, Community Resource Center (CRC) is a nonprofit organization that works to end hunger, homelessness and domestic violence in North County San Diego. As a provider of integrative services, CRC’s programs include a domestic violence emergency shelter, hotline and prevention/education outreach, a Therapeutic Children’s Center, professional counseling, legal advocacy, food and nutrition distribution center, homelessness prevention and rental and housing assistance. All of CRC’s programs are designed to assist participants to successfully navigate their paths of safety, stability & self-sufficiency. For more information, please visit crcncc.org.

During the last fiscal year, CRC’s food distribution center distributed food via more than 11,700 visits from those in need, handled 1,940 calls to their domestic violence hotline, provided more than 1,200 counseling appointments and completed 1,455 tax returns.
