About the event
Canada-Ukraine International Assistance Fund is organizing a “Hike-a-thon for New Limbs” event on Sunday, September 27, 2015 along Humber River Discovery Trail in Toronto, to raise funds for a prosthetic project in Ukraine, where American and Canadian specialists travel to train local prosthetists in advanced prosthetics and fit amputees, who lost their limbs in a war, with new functional artificial limbs (www.prostheticsforukraine.com)
Major Sponsors of this event will be included in further advertising during the mission to Ukraine that is planned for March 2016. Extensive media and social media coverage.
