About the event

Thick as Thieves is honoured to present the second edition of Hijacked Festival. The Thieves have been hard at work building on the road-block success of Hijacked’s inaugural edition last May, where over 2500 revellers partied in the sunshine at Exeter’s Double Locks to a soundtrack provided by the likes of heavy-hitters Gorgon City, Bondax, Oneman and Blonde. It was a massive statement of intent for Hijacked, and this year things are being kicked up a notch. 

With a strictly party-centric ethos that focuses on hosting some of the finest names from across the UK dance landscape in unique and intimate locations, Hijacked is first and foremost about getting the essentials right. So think perfect sound and lighting, forward-thinking programming and an insatiable party atmosphere.

Nestled on the banks of the Exe estuary, we’ve secured a beautiful party location like no other. The picturesque grounds of Powderham Castle, the 600-year old home of the Earl and Countess of Devon will play host to the city’s second visit from Hijacked Festival. There are very few places in the country, in the world, where you can listen to some of the finest dance music out there within stumbling distance of a medieval fortification. 

As with the 2014 edition, Hijacked is presented alongside Our House, Hold It Down & Beats & Bass Society.
